[Help Wordpress] What is the easiest way to do:

Hello,
I'd like to have the slider display authors and their posts.
So, we will have, say, 5 authors. I would like them to be in a list on the left. Once you click their name, you will get their latest 2 articles on the right. Something like this: http://i.imgur.com/eKI5PFr.png
Now, of course I do not wait from you to explain me how to do it. But perhaps some tips as to what slider to pick (custom or posts) and what tags to use?
