[Wordpress issuses] jessaslade on "User name (instead of public name) shows when I comment elsewhere"

When I comment on other blogs (I think Blogger, usually) my user name shows up instead of my public display name. My name is listed properly in all the user info slots. My user name, of course, can't be capitalized and first/last so changing that wouldn't help. What am I missing?
