[Help Wordpress] Make slider from both Posts and Portfolio Items


Hi, I have a site with a Blog and Portfolio Items, and I'd like to create a slider for the main page with images from both Posts and Portfolio Items, but just some categories from both. The idea is to have the latest 5 images from both. Is this possible?
