I'm currently building a site on my local machine using MAMP. I tried dragging the plug-in to the plug-ins folder on my local machine, but it does not show up in the plug-ins section of my WordPress dashboard. I was successful in doing this on a live production site.
Any ideas why this does not work on a local copy of WordPress? I need to be able to work locally and set up my site with the royal slider beforehand, not after.
