[Help Wordpress] (How) Is this possible with the WP plugin?

Apologies up front, but I'm not a coder. However, I'm not too bad at following instructions. :o)

I have the slider set up on a simple page, displaying the thumbnails of a gallery alongside the currently selected image. The image only changes when the user selects a new thumbnail.

I'd like to capture the image ID and image URL of the selected image and bring that into a form field when the user selects a submit button.

The examples I've looked at in the Knowledge Base and other discussions, have focused on styling or initialising the slider prior to loading, which is not what I need.

Is there a shortcode available that captures the currently displayed image details?

Alternatively, what steps do I need to take to capture this information and make it available to a form field? Can you point me in the direction of any examples on how I could implement this?

Many thanks in advance.

- Stephen
