aliceharding on "Advice re tags"
Sorry but I do not understand your answer. I am not applying for a job as a librarian, never even go to the library and as far as I know, have nothing whatever to do with libraries. In fact about the closest connection I have with a library is apparently posting on here, where you have answered several times - for which thanks!
(I could not imagine what it would be like to sack someone 'on the spot'! I remember my brother saying he was forced to 'sack' three people once, and it made him ill for weeks.)
The fact is that people obviously put certain search terms into Google, and I just gave this as an example of how they ought to be formulated.
To rephrase the question: do I need to put - for example - the "what is", "can" or "why is" in each time in separate phrases, or would one mention of each word cover the several occurrences of it.
When you say a combination of categories and tags, I do not understand what 'categories' refers to?
I've no idea how the total of 15 is arrived at and what the 'limit' is on the actual number of words.
I will start with the SEO in a few weeks, which seems to be quite a daunting task, but have some more important things to do first, while in the meantime I'd just like to get a set of tags in place on the articles.
Perhaps I need a Happiness Engineer again!
