OK bit of a strange one here but is there any way that i can format additional pages of my blog to display like the initial blog page?
I use my site to host various songwriting projects that I run every year.
When the project is complete I create a new page that I transfer posts to so a visitor can view separate projects as opposed to having to dig through months of blog posts to find the relevant project.
The problem I've found is that as each post hosts a video and audio player the page loads very slowly. Strangely enough this doesn't occur when the same posts are displayed in their original blog page format despite the fact that the same no. of posts are displayed.
Am I imagining this or is there a technical reason why this is so?
Anyway one way around this is to have pages in my menu actually formatted to lay out content the same as the initial blog page as opposed to a standard page.
Is this possible?
The blog I need help with is songsfromthehowlingsea.com.
