[Help Wordpress] Trouble linking to Videos from YouTube and Vimeo

I am not able to get the response I want from either linking Youtube or Vimeo and really feel like I am at the point that I need help.
Youtube:
The front image is really small and I am not sure why.
The play button is off center
The video itself is bigger but still not 100% width, it is also off center.

Vimeo
When I try linking a vimeo video I get the following error: "Incorrect Video URL or problem with the request." I am trying to link http://vimeo.com/64606229 which is a valid url.

One more problem - I am getting a half second flash of the second item in the slider on Chrome and IE - do you know how I could fix that? The site is www.fissionuranium.com and you can see my slider on the homepage.
