I have fixed the display error for the default theme, I found that the shortcode has wrapping it which it didn't like. After removing that it started working fine.
I am still however getting the error when trying to use the 2nd template. When I try and preview it I get the following error "Unexpected output generated." and if I save the slider and try and view it on the page I only get the page sidebar and header.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as this is the template I would like to use.
