[Help Wordpress] How to edit the length and colour of the tabs in a slider

I am making a site for a charity I work with and have made a slider... http://74.220.215.209/~ketwangi/

There are 5 slides but the tabs don't seem to fill the width of the slider. I was wondering whether someone could please give me some instructions on making these tabs all the same length - the slider width is 940px. I don't really know any coding so an idiots guide would be appreciated. :-)

I'm also looking to change the colour of the tab background and font colour of possible.
